What did the Kelly Clark Foundation Scholarship enable you to do this year?

It enabled me to stay training with my team MMSC at Stowe, Vt. and to travel to off site competitions.

What are your dreams? 

Yes, my dream for this season was to qualify for Nationals, which I did and had an amazing experience.  Although, I did not podium, I had personal best races and was very proud of how I rode.  The Kelly Clark scholarship helped offset some of the cost and made it easier for me to fulfill my dream of riding in the Rocky Mountains.  My dad traveled with me and we had an incredible time riding and bonding together.

Are there any other stories or testimonials that you would like to share with us? 

My favorite part of this season was the opportunity to go to Nationals.  It was a personal goal this season and I achieved my goal.  Once on the course at Copper, I quickly realized my competition was fierce, but I stayed focused and did my best.  I did not make it to the podium, but I had amazing runs and personal best scores.  I knew it didn't matter whether I won or not, I just tried to do my best. 

My coaches were very proud of me and so was I.  Thank you again for this opportunity and the scholarship.  It means a great deal to me and I hope to stay connected to the Kelly Clark Foundation in the future.  Please keep me informed of any other opportunities with Kelly Clark or any other ways I can help.  I can't wait to be back on the mountain to see where my next adventure in snowboarding takes me.
