Cathy Clark is no stranger to the power of snowboarding. In 1989 she relocated her family, including her two children, Tim and Kelly, to Mount Snow, VT. Cathy soon noticed that her children spent more time on the mountain than they did at home or in the family restaurant – and once Kelly fell in love with snowboarding, there was no turning back. Soon Cathy and her husband Terry enrolled Kelly in Mount Snow Academy. For over 15 years, Cathy and the rest of the Clark family have watched Kelly soar out of the half pipe and earn top honors in every aspect of competition. For Cathy, the Kelly Clark Foundation is just another example of Kelly’s commitment to the future of snowboarding, and she is proud to be a part of this important component of her daughter’s life.
